River Whyless - A Stone, A Leaf An Unfound Door
My brother randomly stumbled upon this CD at some blog site. It has flirts with song stylings from such bands as Fleet Foxes and The Low Anthem. I believe it is their first release. It is pretty good over all. A few stand out tracks. They have a lot of potential.
except it’s actually their second album. the first is archie carroll and was released under the name do it to julia three or so years ago. it’s far more accessible an album than this one, but they’re both equally solid in their own right.
